- Khalid is immortal and appears as a 14 year old child, both due to a curse. He's around a few millennia old, though he refuses to give any straight answer as to the actual number.
- The curse originated from a Goddess; in his adulthood, Khalid was someone who seduced and used people as toys, always sexual but sometimes adding in other needs of his, then dropped them once they were no longer useful. The God of the Moon fell in love with him, but was used the same as anyone else, and returned to the heavens heartbroken. The Goddess of the Sun was enraged by the treatment and cursed Khalid to forever linger, closed off from the afterlife, as punishment for his treatment of her brother. In addition, to rub salt into the wound, she added onto that curse that he would appear as a 14-year-old child for that eternity.
- Though Khalid initially lasted throughout it fine, a century in found him depressed. Another century found him suicidal, and he spent the next few decades attempting to end his life and finding every attempt stopped by that immortality, though he suffered the pain all the same.
- Seeing Khalid suffering, the God of the Moon eventually visited him again. While he couldn't break the curse set by his sister, he could at lease ease it, and blessed Khalid so that every full moon, he would take on his true appearance once again.
- Naturally, after all this and so long alive, Khalid has actually become a much better person and strives to treat everyone well, though he does have multiple partners at any given time.
- This is because Khalid is polyamorous as well as bisexual.
- Khalid is a skilled magician and archer, having practiced those skills during his time alive (and having studied magic to try to break the curse). He is, however, not very good at close combat or any sort of close fighting or weapon (such as swordsmanship), meaning he prefers to keep at range.
